Impact UNAH 2026: Those Who Visited Us

A Visit Reflecting the Commitment of the University Community

On Thursday, August 13, 2026, the Impact UNAH 2026 mission was pleased to welcome Wisnel Joseph, Director of the Research Department at the Michel Nord Isaac Campus of the Adventist University of Haiti.

His presence in Fournier was an important moment for the students, mission leaders, and community members. The visit reflected the interest in and support for the various initiatives carried out as part of Impact UNAH 2026, as well as the commitment of the university community to supporting actions that contribute to the well-being and development of local communities.

Discovering the Mission’s Initiatives

During his visit, Mr. Joseph had the opportunity to learn more about the different activities carried out by the missionaries and students in the Fournier community. He witnessed the diversity of initiatives that characterize the mission, ranging from evangelism and educational activities to social, agricultural, and environmental projects.

This experience also offered a closer look at the broader purpose of Impact UNAH 2026. The mission is not simply about reaching out to communities; it is also about putting the University’s knowledge, skills, and resources at the service of real community needs.

Through the involvement of students, faculty members, and university leaders, UNAH seeks to create opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and meaningful action that can have a lasting impact.

A Mission Built on Collaboration

Wisnel Joseph’s visit is part of a broader spirit of collaboration and mobilization surrounding Impact UNAH 2026. The involvement and support of different sectors of the University strengthen the reach of the initiative and demonstrate that community service is a responsibility that can be shared across the entire institution.

By encouraging interaction between university representatives and the communities they serve, Impact UNAH 2026 also creates opportunities to identify needs, share experiences, and explore responses that are relevant to local realities.

This approach reflects the vision of a university that goes beyond the classroom—not only sharing knowledge with communities, but also learning from them, walking alongside them, and contributing to their transformation.

A Visit That Encourages and Inspires

The presence of university leaders and visitors in the field is also a source of encouragement for the missionaries. It reminds them that their efforts are supported by a broader community that shares the same commitment to service.

In Fournier, Impact UNAH 2026 continues its mission by bringing together evangelism, education, social support, community engagement, and sustainable development.

Every visit, every encounter, and every action helps strengthen the connection between the University and the communities it serves.
