Port-au-Prince, Haiti — August 13–15, 2026. Adventist University of Haiti (UNAH), through its Faculty of Theology, is pleased to announce the 5th edition of the Theology Forum, a major academic and spiritual gathering bringing together students, professors, researchers, pastors, and theology enthusiasts around a significant historical and theological theme:
“History of Adventism: Contexts, Contours, and Contrasts of a Unique Prophetic Movement”
The 5th Theology Forum will take place from August 13 to 15, 2026, at the Chapel of the Faculty of Theology at UNAH, with an option for participants to attend online.
A Space for Reflection on the History of Adventism
Since its emergence, the Adventist movement has developed within distinctive religious, social, and intellectual contexts. The 5th edition of the Theology Forum seeks to provide an academic space for examining the origins, development, doctrinal contours, and distinctive characteristics of the Adventist movement.
Through lectures, workshops, and discussion panels, participants will have the opportunity to explore various dimensions of Adventist history and examine the contrasts that have contributed to shaping its identity and mission.
The Forum also provides a valuable opportunity to foster dialogue between theological research, academic teaching, and contemporary ecclesiastical reflection.
A Gathering for Students, Professors, and Researchers
The Forum is particularly intended for theology students, professors, researchers, pastors, church leaders, and anyone interested in deepening their understanding of Adventist history and theology.
Participants will benefit from a rich program featuring a series of presentations and discussions addressing major questions related to the history and development of the Adventist movement.
